Top 5 Feuds for John Cena in 2013

Top 5 feuds for John Cena in 2013

Over the years, John Cena has been in some amazing storylines and some terrible ones as well. At the start of 2012, His feud with Kane was very dumb and very bad story-telling. Especially after Ryder-Eve got in the storyline. His feud with Big Show and Johnny was terrible, especially because that feud gave us 2 non-PPV worthy matches on Pay-Per-View and those were Over The Limit Where he faced Johnny and lost, and faced Big Show at No Way Out which wasn't as worse but they have had A LOT of matches and people are tired of It. Here's hoping 2013 puts him in better storylines in 2013 and better opponents as well. I will give you the top 5 superstars Cena might/will feud with in 2013.

1. The Rock - might be some one that Cena will for sure feud in 2013, and It's very likely. I know most people did not enjoy their promos last year but I for one enjoyed their promos. The Rock's promo on Feb. 27th from Portland was very amazing as well and Cena was at his best as well on that day. I will say this, their match wasn't the best match that you'd expect after all the hype but It was not bad. Cena winning Royal Rumble and The Rock being the WWE Champion as of right now certainly means one thing and one thing only: They will feud again whether anybody likes It or not.

2. Daniel Bryan - These two must feud in 2013. I was hoping that they'll feud in 2012 but that didn't happen because Daniel Bryan became more of a tag team wrestler in Summer. At SummerSlam 2010, When Team WWE vs Team Nexus happend everybody thought that one spot left in team WWE would be like a Top Superstar like Triple H or a shocker like Vince McMahon But It was Daniel Bryan. If I remember correctly, Him and Cena were the last 2 left for Team WWE on that match. In August last year John Cena and Daniel Bryan had a match and It was the main event of Raw and they both put on a great match. Here's hoping that WWE can be smart and Let this feud happen in 2013.

3. CM Punk - I know so many people don't want Cena/Punk to feud because they have feuded a lot in 2011 and 2012 but I think they both have put on a Superb matches each time. I will not complain for another awesome match between the two, Punk brings out the best in Cena whenever they have a match. At MITB 2011 In Chicago, John Cena and CM Punk put on a five star match and No body should deny that. They also had a match at SummerSlam 2011, that match probably wasn't better than MITB one but It was great. Last time these two had a match on PPV was Night of Champions in Boston where the match ended in a Draw. And Once again both CM Punk and John Cena put on a brilliant match. I enjoy their promos as well, Great story-telling and etc, thanks to the Diet Soda. CM Punk and John Cena will definitely have another feud in 2013.

4. Randy Orton - These two have also feuded with each other before but that was like 2-3 years ago. Their feud wasn't bad, In my opinion. Their best match was the Iron-man match at Bragging Rights 2009. It was a good back and fourth kind of feud. Cena beat him for the WWE Title at Breaking Point and shockingly lost at the next PPV to none other than Randy Orton in a Hell In A Cell Match and then they had another match on the next PPV and John Cena won that match to finally put a end to It. If Randy Orton will Indeed turn Heel in 2013, then He should feud with John Cena this year.

5. Cody Rhodes or Antonio Cesaro - WWE are very high on Antonio Cesaro and I think a feud between Cena and Rhodes would be pretty great. Cody Rhodes is also some one that Cena should feud with in 2013, I remember their match from Raw about a week ago and It was a squash match. That's stupid from WWE's side to give a pointless match, but I think Rhodes vs Cena would be a great feud in 2013 especially that Cody Rhodes is no longer with Damien Sandow anymore. Cena faced Antonio Cesaro at the Tribute To The Troops event and It was not the best match but because they've got like 5 minutes. Cody Rhodes or Antonio Cesaro one of them should definitely have a feud with John Cena in 2013.

These are the 5 opponents for John Cena in 2013 that I want/should happen or are likely to happen. Thank you for reading!

Monday Night Raw February 4, 2013 - Review

CM Punk kicked off Raw and He cut a pretty great promo as always, followed by Booker T to Interrupt and announce that CM Punk will either face Chris Jericho, Rey Mysterio or Randy Orton.

First match of the night was Ryback vs Antonio Cesaro - we've seen this match way too many times, and During the match Cesaro was trying to escape so many times but at the end Ryback Shell Shocked him to win the match.

2nd Match was Jack Swagger vs Santino Marella - It was a Fine match, Not that long match and It ended with Jack Swagger making Santino tap out to the Patriot Act (Ankle Lock's new name)

Alberto Del Rio vs Cody Rhodes - Good match between these two, Del Rio sold his anger from Smackdown really well. After the match, Alberto Del Rio's promo was also okay, He isn't the best in the mic but It was a fine promo. We saw Big Show from God knows where and He told Del Rio that He wants a rematch at Elimination Chamber.

Rey Mysterio vs Daniel Bryan - A match involving Bryan can't ever be bad. It was a good move to do this match since we saw Team Hell No vs Rey/Cara on SD. Daniel Bryan made Rey Mysterio tap out to the NO! Lock. And then Some body got their ass kicked, because Mark Henry returned and sure He made a huge Impact because He destroyed Bryan, Sin Cara and Rey Mysterio. 2013 Hall of Pain has started and It was pretty awesome to see Henry back. Hopefully WWE are going somewhere with this.

Sheamus vs Kane - I don't know why they did this match, Since both are faces but I think they are keeping Kane/Bryan as tweeners or something but It was a Okay match and Sheamus hit a Brogue Kick to Kane for the win. Both Sheamus and Ryback won their matches tonight leading up to the Elimination Chamber PPV.

The MIZ TV - In last 2-3 months, The Miz has hosted Miz-TV more than He has wrestled to be honest. Most of his Miz TV segments are all stupid but Last night's was a good segment. Paul Heyman cut another awesome promo, Also Miz cut a fine promo. It was a okay segment until the music hit and Here comes the Pain! Brock Lesnar enters the ring and gets face to face with The Miz who pushes Lesnar away and then Brock destroys him and ends It with a F5 to The Miz, thanks for coming.

Randy Orton vs Wade Barrett - They have done this match so many times that People are bored of It regardless of who wins, Barrett won clean over Orton weeks away. I heard reports that WWE did this match because Orton was scheduled to face Punk but the voting wasnt rigged and Y2J won the poll. That's understandable but couldn't have Orton wrestled some one else other than Barrett? Don't ever do this match again please.

Chris Jericho vs CM Punk - Rematch from Wrestlemania 28 where CM Punk was a face and Jericho was a heel but last night was a different story. FANTASTIC match by the two, Both were awesome. I would've liked Jericho to win but CM Punk winning wasn't the worst either. This should've been the main event because the ending was pretty weak despite How much they hyped It.

At the end, John Cena calls out The Shield or Brad Maddox. He cut a promo about How he won't let Cena call out the Shield, Instead He calls them out and gets destroyed by them. Then John Cena's music hit! Cena makes his way through the crowd, then Ryback and Sheamus join him in the stands but The Shield tries to run for it but they couldn't. we saw a fight between Shield and Cena, Ryback and Sheamus in the ring until The Shield runs away!

Raw wasn't as good as It was last week, Only like 3 segments were worth watching and few matches Including the Chris Jericho vs CM Punk match. The ending was okay but It shouldn't have been the main event since It wasn't as good as they hyped It. It was a great show and We are on the ROAD TO WRESTLEMANIA!

Why Brock Lesnar vs HHH shouldn't happen at WM29.

First of all, If you have watched Raw this past week You should probably know that the seeds for this match have been planted.

After what Lesnar did to HHH's real-life father In Law, Its meant to happen but unlike other I think this match should happen but not at Wrestlemania. You can use both HHH and Lesnar to do something else, something different.

Rock-Cena at WM29 can be justified because Rock vs Cena at WM28 drew 1.2 millions buys with them being the top main event. I mean It's unfair to fans that they'll get both 2 rematches on the same card.

You don't need to Lesnar-HHH because It will draw, I mean You can put Brock with some one else and people will still be Interested, that's How great he is. Both Lesnar-HHH are a draw, SummerSlam drew 49,000 more buys than the year before which was headlined by Cena-Punk. Cena vs Brock from Extreme Rules 2012 did 54,000 more buys than the 2011 show did. Both Hunter and Lesnar can draw, No doubt about that.

HHH is a draw no doubt, So is Lesnar but People would still be Interested to see Lesnar vs some one like Punk, Ziggler etc. HHH who faced Kevin Nash at TLC last year did a buyrate of 179,000 compared to 195,000 at TLC 2010. I'm not saying HHH doesn't have drawing power, I'm saying He can draw but LESNAR is the one that will draw no matter what, He is a beast that people pay to see.

I was shocked that HHH lost to Lesnar at SummerSlam and I gave HHH all the credit He deserved because I mean come on, He finally took a loss. I saw reports saying that Vince wanted HHH to win but He told him na "Let's have Lesnar win" and I mean I respect that... But then saw reports 2-3 months later saying HHH-Lesnar is happening at WM because HHH needs his BS win.

HHH is already half-retired, He should be putting wrestlers over by now. He doesn't need the win against Lesnar, He really doesn't. Use Lesnar for another match like Face CM Punk - now that would be amazing or Have him face Undertaker which would be awesome as well. But we do not need another Lesnar-HHH match because I mean we saw it at SummerSlam and What happend? Yes HHH lost and not even that, He tapped out. It would've made sense If HHH had lost by cheating or something which means a Rematch should happen but Triple H clearly tapped out and I don't see the point in doing a rematch between the two.

Will the rematch happen? Of course It will but I tell ya 90% of the people WILL not be Interested because It's a pointless match. But It will happen especially after Lesnar's return on Raw this past Monday and then Mr. COO will come out and say How he doesn't wanna face Brock and all, Stupid promos etc and then It will happen again at WM29 and what will happen? A 43 year old part timer wrestler defeat the former UFC Champion.

WrestleMania 29 would be a good show, but It doesn't need too many rematches. People would still be watching WM If Brock/HHH happens or not, But they won't be Interested, And that's the truth.

5 Matches You Might See at WrestleMania 29

5 Matches that You Might See at WrestleMania 29

1. Dolph Ziggler vs Alberto Del Rio - I'm not sure If this match would be for the World Heavyweight Title or not but It would be better If It is even though I would love another Y2J vs Ziggler match at Mania. Ziggler vs Del Rio wouldn't be bad even if It's not for World Title but WWE needs to build it right If It's going to happen. I have enjoyed Alberto's face turn so far and his feud with Big Show is alright, Nothing worse. Cena, Punk, Edge etc only some has went Into the Chamber match as Champs and retained their title so It would make Del Rio a strong face If He were to become one of them.

2. Sheamus vs Randy Orton - There have been a lot of hints about these 2 having a feud in the near future and what would be a better way to do It than at The Grandest Stage of them all? Several reports came saying that WWE still wants to do their match at Mania and I'm wondering How would they pull It off? I mean If Sheamus or Orton wins It from Del Rio at Chamber then Isn't he in for a Rematch at WM but again they can Give It to him at Smackdown or something but If I were to Bet, I think Sheamus wins at Chamber setting up his match with a likely Heel Randy Orton at WM.

3. Brock Lesnar vs Triple H - We've seen this match at SummerSlam and It wasn't all that great, However It wasn't bad either since Most people looked forward to this match at SS. After Raw this past Monday, Almost everybody should know we might see this match even though I'd much rather see Taker vs Brock. HHH-Lesnar would be a Logical WM main event, and even though Most fans Including me will complain about It happening, It's almost a guarantee that we will see this at WM. Here's hoping WWE adds some kind of stipulation to this match to make It a bit Interesting.

4. CM Punk vs Undertaker - First of all, I would have loved to see a STREAK VS STREAK match between the two at WM but after CM Punk lost to The Rock at Rumble, It's likely that this match won't be a streak vs streak match. Now the question is How will this feud kick off? If CM Punk was the champ till now then It would've made more sense but Still If after Chamber Punk who is pissed He lost to Rock again cuts a promo next night on Raw about How he has done It all and He doesn't need to beat Rocky to prove that and He has accomplished everything there is in the WWE, etc and then Here comes The Undertaker who stares at CM Punk and Issues him a challenge at Mania since Punk thinks He has done It all. This wouldn't be the worst way to set It up, IMO but again It would've made more sense and excitement about this match If It were to be for WWE Championship but I understand as to why WWE didn't want to do It.

5. John Cena vs The Rock for WWE Championship - After Royal Rumble, These two are bound to be headlining Wrestlemania again whether It's Triple Threat Including Punk or not. I know lots of people are saying How It was Once In A Life Time last year and that's why they don't want to see It and I gotta say that's just b.s. You really trusted WWE when they were promoting It as Once In A Life Time? I seriously wasn't but I know by logic that they're still not breaking their OIALT deal because Cena won Rumble who has to face a WWE/World Champ at Mania and Cena choose The WWE Champ and It's ALMOST likely that we'll see Rock/Cena II. If WWE were to Include Punk in this match then What do they do with Undertaker and If Brock will face him then What will you do with HHH? So I think WWE will take the easy way out and Just do the predictable matches.

These are the five matches that I personally think would happen at WrestleMania as of now, But I'm sure that AT least 3 of these matches will happen at WrestleMania 29.

Royal Rumble Predictions

First of all, I just gotta say Royal Rumble is one of my favorite ppv's and the excitement every year is just unreal.

So Royal Rumble is This Sunday and There's about 4-5 matches and The Royal Rumble Match.

1. The Miz vs Antonio Cesaro Pre Show - Antonio Cesaro has been a pretty great US Champion in my opinion. He has been the champion since SummerSlam and ever since then He has been Impressive. I think Miz vs Cesaro would be a great match but I think they should just keep the title on Cesaro. So yeah I think Antonio Cesaro would retain.

2. Team Hell No vs Rhodes Scholars - Team Hell No won the tag titles at Night of Champions last year and Lots of people Including me were happy about It because ever since then It has been a pretty great run for them as tag champs. Their anger management classes to them graduating, All are/were entertaining. I personally think they shouldn't split Kane/Bryan but I think It might happen at Rumble. Both Bryan/Kane has their tag team champions match and They will also be part of the Royal Rumble pay-per-view. So I wouldn't be shocked if they lost their tag-titles to Rhodes Scholars earlier in the night and then During the Rumble match one might eliminate one another and that will probably lead us to a Kane vs Daniel Bryan Match at Wrestlemania.

3. Alberto Del Rio vs Big Show for World Heavyweight Champion (Last Man Standing Match) - Del Rio won the World title, what 2-3 weeks ago during a Smackdown tapings and when I read about that I was just like "WTF".  because It was shocking, I mean Who thought some one that ran over Santa on Raw would go on to win the World title 2 weeks later? I know I didn't. Well I think Alberto Del Rio is going to retain in this match.

4. The Rock vs CM Punk for WWE Title - This by far is the most unpredictable match of the night. Why? Well because Punk retaining or Rock winning both are logical choices. What I think will play a huge role in this match is the Royal Rumble match. If Rock/Punk happens before the Rumble match then Rock who lost to Punk can enter the Rumble match and win It. I'm going with The Rock to win the WWE Champion even though It would be better for WWE if they have him win at Chamber so the ppv buy-rate etc increases.

5. The Royal Rumble Match - Dolph Ziggler will be entering at #1 in this match, and I can tell you right now He'll be there till the last possibly. There have been rumors of Sheamus winning It again this year and other rumors of Cena winning It setting up Rock/Cena II at WM29. However, I think John Cena is going to win this to set up his match with Rock at Mania. I mean He said 2013 would be his year and then He starts off the year by actually not winning something He said would win? I'm not saying whatever Cena says has to be true but I predict John Cena to win this match.
