Why Brock Lesnar needs to beat Triple H at Extreme Rules

Brock Lesnar wrestled his first match at Extreme Rules last year vs John Cena since returning. He has wrestled 3 matches in one year and out of 3, He has lost 2 and won one. He lost to John Cena at Extreme Rules 2012, He beat Triple H at SummerSlam. Then once again at WrestleMania this year, He lost to Triple H. So his current record is 1-2 which is exactly what Lesnar doesn't need. His character is a unstoppable monster, but yet WWE has made him lose matches. Yes Brock Lesnar looked very strong in defeat to Cena at Extreme Rules last year but He still lost. Why should fans care about an superstar If he keeps losing PPV matches? Here is some reasons why I think Brock Lesnar should win at Extreme Rules.

First of all, Brock Lesnar needs to win this match just because Triple H doesn't need It. HHH did needed to win at WrestleMania because He wanted payback Which He got. At Extreme Rules, Triple H has nothing to lose If he loses to Lesnar. Triple H doesn't need victories to be a Main event star. He won't lose any credibility by losing this match. Brock Lesnar will gain more by winning this match, He needs It. If He loses then It will be his 3rd lose since returning. Brock Lesnar is a bigger draw than Triple H at the moment and Looking at It now, Lesnar will be wrestling more matches in the future than HHH will. No point in having HHH win If he will disappear right after It.

Triple H doesn't have to lose clean in a Steel Cage Match. Brock Lesnar won at SummerSlam, HHH won at WrestleMania. Scorecard is 1-1 and this is a Rubber match in a Steel Cage match to avoid any outside Interference. And that is why there should be outside Interference. Steel Cage matches in WWE usually always have outside Interference. Now we get to the point of Who costs HHH his match? There can be a few, 1. might be someone that HHH can fued in the near future, because HHH would disappear after the loss and then When he returns He can feud with that superstar. Another one can be Paul Heyman, that would be predictable but can be logical.

The Shield could also cost Triple H the match at Extreme Rules. We can say that Paul Heyman told them to do that. If you have Shield cost HHH the match and then End the PPV with them standing tall with Champions in their hands (They defeated Team Hell No earlier on the night). Triple H disappears for a while and since I heard Taker will be wrestling Shield at SummerSlam, Why don't we have HHH who lost to Lesnar at ER because of Shield, Undertaker who is taken out by The Shield and one other superstar vs The Shield at SummerSlam. There are many ways for Lesnar to win that match by cheating since It's a Steel Cage match.

Now we move on to What will be next for Lesnar when he wins at Extreme Rules. Brock Lesnar is advertised for WWE Payback in Chicago next month, so I assume He would be wrestling in that pay-per-view. Now If you have HHH beat him at Extreme Rules then Why would we think He has a chance in his next match in few weeks? Lesnar can win few more matches and even though He is a part time wrestler, He should challenge for the WWE Championship. After winning few more matches, Brock Lesnar can move onto challenging the WWE Champion John Cena at SummerSlam. I'm not sure if WWE will have Cena be champion till SummerSlam but He might be. Brock Lesnar's first WWE match since returning was against John Cena who he lost to. Now Lesnar might look to get his revenge and Also the WWE Champion. So you have Brock Lesnar vs John Cena at SummerSlam for the WWE Champion but I don't want to see that match If WWE makes Lesnar lose ANOTHER match before that.

Brock Lesnar must win for many reasons, but these were couple of reasons why I think He should win the Steel cage match at Extreme Rules. Hope you enjoyed this short article, Make sure you Follow me on Twitter.

Monday Night Raw May 6, 2013 - Review

Haven't wrote a Raw review since the Post-WM show. I'd be honest and say that was the last Raw that I watched that didn't dragged, Yes I've watched for the last few weeks but not the whole show because of How bad It has been in recent weeks. Even though Last night's show was another boring episode, I did watch most of It.

In this review, I will analysis every segment and match that took place on Raw. So Lets begin....

Vickie announces Last Man Standing match as the Stipulation
for Ryback vs John Cena at Extreme Rules

The WWE Champion John Cena kicks off the show with surprisingly more Cheers than boos. Being a Cena fan myself, Actually enjoyed that the crowd was pro-Cena even though this segment featuring Cena, Vickie, and Ryback got boring chants. Not a strong segment to kick off the show but I feel like the whole point of It was for It to announce the stipulation for the John Cena vs Ryback match at Extreme Rules. I knew It was going to be a Last Man Standing match because Cena has a foot Injury, and It will be tough for him to win this kind of match. I wonder if the John Cena vs Ryback match will be the main event at Extreme Rules or will It be Lesnar vs Triple H.

Decent match between Damien Sandow and Randy Orton. I would've liked for Damien Sandow to win the match but I think that was to give Randy Orton momentum heading Into Extreme Rules against Big Show. Sandow's song for Orton was hilarious, Hope WWE would push Sandow, Very talented. Big Show's attack after match was a surprise to many, not me though. The build up to this match has been decent as well.

Meaningless match between Fandango and R Truth. Fandango walking out of the match was stupid. I think He should've won, but guess His popularity started on Post-WM show and ended on just that show. This match or segment didn't do much for the Y2J/Fandango feud but It wasn't that bad. I wonder if we will see another Fandango vs Chris Jericho match at Extreme Rules, Most likely yes.

-Backstage Daniel Bryan is being Interviewed, and He reacts to his loss to Ryback from Friday Night Smackdown. He challenges Ryback to a rematch which Ryback declines. Then we see Kane challenging Ryback in which Ryback says to Kane that He isn't the monster which He use to be which is kind of true and says He is the only true monster left in the WWE (Ha!). That is the end of 1st hour and It was really a bad first hour. Nothing Important happend, All comedy.

Dolph Ziggler w/AJ Lee & Langston vs Alberto Del Rio (w/ Ricardo)

Great match between Alberto Del Rio and Dolph Ziggler. The match didn't end clean which I think was very well done. The end of segment with Swagger being looked Strong was also great because He hasn't really done much in recent weeks and plus He lost at WrestleMania to Del Rio, so He must be really looked strong heading Into the match at Extreme Rules. It's a Triple Threat Match between Jack Swagger, Alberto Del Rio and Jack Swagger at Extreme Rules. Just to point out, All three have won the MITB ladder match before, More Importantly all three were heel.

Backstage segment featuring Kaitlyn, Naomi and Cameron. Kaitlyn gets another text from her secret admirer. Okay, Who is this annonymous guy texting Kaitlyn? It might be Hornswoggle. It's probably The Bella Twins or Big E Langston.

Kofi Kingston & The Usos vs The Shield

So guys, Since Undertaker, Daniel Bryan and Kane couldn't beat The Shield, I'm really convincing you to believe that Kofi and Usos will get the job done. The Shield has been booked pretty great, They continue to dominate. You have to wonder that since Kofi Kingston was in this match, Roman Reigns might be going for his US Title. Ambrose and Rollins for Tag Team Champions at Extreme Rules. Reigns beating Kofi Kingston and winning the US Champion would be good but yet Another meaningless Kofi title reign. but I think that was the whole point to have a Face win It from Antonio Cesaro.

Antonio Cesaro vs Zack Ryder

I was scared through out the whole match that Antonio Cesaro was actually going to lose to Ryder. If you haven't checked, Ryder has defeated Cesaro in recent live events, and Yes Zack Ryder was undefeated at those Live Events, Woo Woo Woo. Ryder didn't really got any reaction from the crowd, Oops. Cesaro getting the win was nice to see, Since He has been losing in recent weeks. Cesaro's promo after the match was also great, I hope that promo actually means He is going to get a push. He has a match against Randy Orton on WWE Main Event this week.

After so much hype through out the whole night, Finally we are going to see the Brock Lesnar footage of going to the WWE HQ. I wouldn't say the hype was all worth the wait but I will say this was the only thing that I found Interested in the whole show, Sadly. I find a taped video that was taped on Friday the best part about the whole show. Heyman as always was genius with his talking. "Oh are you Stephanie? No you're not, You're prettier than her" "This logo is the size of Triple H's ego", Genius I tell you. Brock Lesnar looking at every poster and Boom! You see him looking at The Rock's poster. That was a nice tease for their feud IF The Rock will come at WrestleMania 30. So that whole thing was pretty fun, I bet I wasn't the only one that found It pretty hilarious.

Triple H comes out to respond, His promo was showed his passion for the WWE. He said He went to his 1st office, and This is his 2nd office and I think the 3rd Office is where Stephanie is. Typical promo from HHH, but It wasn't anything bad. He is always great on the mic. I can't say if this feud is getting me Interested but I am Interested to see Lesnar. Lesnar vs HHH part 3 just isn't my thing.

AJ Lee & The Bella Twins vs Kaitlyn & Funkadactlys

Crowd totally dead during this match which wasn't much of a surprise. What I want to know is Who do we cheer for between Bellas and AJ? Do we cheer AJ who walks around with a Heel or Bellas who cheats to win their matches? Nonetheless, Bellas leaves AJ and Kaitlyn spears her for the win for her team.

Wade Barrett vs Sheamus

Mark Henry is on commentary because That's What He does! It's sad to see Barrett (IC Champion) losing every match, It seems like WWE just doesn't care for their US or IC Champions. Henry beats the crap out of Sheamus after the match. Finally Good to see Henry getting the better of Sheamus. I don't really mind this feud, but I'm still going to write about It because THATS WHAT I DO!

- Fandango vs Chris Jericho is announced for a Dance Off Next week on Raw, and We have a Highlight reel on Smackdown. There's something wrong there, It's backwards.

Kane vs Ryback

One of the worst main events of this year, I didn't expected to be anything good anyways but not this bad. Whole point of It was for Ryback to get a momentum heading Into Extreme Rules which He did got after giving Kane a Shellshock. Yay, Ryback is the real monster who hasn't won a PPV since July 2012. Here comes The Shield, and Here comes Daniel Bryan to make the save for Kane while the Real Monster Ryback walks away. John Cena comes out to make the save and Just when we start the brawl, Ryback runs down to attack the Shield but Instead attacks Cena which was very unpredictable, Yawn.

Overall, Raw was pretty boring this week. Meaningless comedy segments, pointless matches and nothing Important happend in the show. I know It's the WrestleMania hang over but come on WWE, You can't get worse than that. If for anything, Just change Raw back to 2 hours. 1st hour was painful, 2nd was okay, 3rd was blah. Raw got a 2.9 rating this week, Lowest since December 17th, 2012.

Monday Night Raw April 8, 2013 - Review (Post WM)

John Cena vows to defend his WWE Champion on Raw
Great segment to kick off the show with The New WWE Champion John Cena. 90% of people in the crowd were booing him. He teased fans with a heel turn, He then announced that He will defend his WWE Championship tonight on Raw. He named few opponents like Ziggler, Punk etc but Mark Henry came out to the ring and Sexual Chocolate chant starts. Henry said He wants to fight Cena for the title, and Here comes the SD GM who can for some reason book matches on Raw. He said the match can't happen for the title because Rock is still the #1 contender for Cena's title. Booker T told Henry that If He can beat Cena tonight then He will get a WWE Title shot. I thought It was a great start to Raw, Cena didn't celebrate that much for his title win and cut a fine promo.

Decent match between Daniel Bryan and Big E Langston. Bryan was on a roll until Ziggler and AJ Lee Interfered thus far causing distraction which lead for Big E Langston to do his move. Looks like Big E Langston is getting a push.

Awesome match between Wade Barrett and The Miz. The crowd was totally into It, they were cheering for Barrett. This match was much better than their match in the WM pre-show which was about 5 minutes. They gave more time and both were great. I was really surprised that Wade Barrett won the IC Champion back just after losing It at WrestleMania. However, I think they made him win since WWE will be touring UK in 2 weeks.

Dolph Ziggler successfully cashes his MITB briefcase
Nice match between Alberto Del Rio and Jack Swagger w/Zeb Colter. Zeb Colter does get heat from the crowd for what He says but I'm tired of the same promos every week. Now that Swagger vs Del Rio storyline is over, I'm looking forward to what's next for these two. Del Rio won the match which didn't got not much of a reaction from the crowd. Dolph Ziggler cashed in his Money In The Bank and won and that crowd went total nuts, Don't remember the last time that a Heel got that much of a ovation for cashing in his MITB briefcase. Zigger should be happy he cashed in at Raw in front of a better crowd than WM was. Finally Ziggler is the World Heavyweight Champion and now fans won't have to chant "We Want Ziggler" during World Title matches.

Great segment featuring The Undertaker, The Shield and Team Hell No. Undertaker said his win at WM was dedicated to Paul Bearer and Here comes Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns. I really thought Shield was going to attack Taker, I even called that just before Raw started. But I was surprised to see Kane and Daniel Bryan made the save. I don't know what is next but I would love to see Team Hell No and Undertaker vs The Shield at Extreme Rules.

Throw-away six man tag team match with Zack Ryder, R Truth and Santino Marella facing 3MB. As I said couple of weeks ago, If you need anyone to job for a six man tag team match 3MB are ready baby. If anything that came out of this match then It was Zack Ryder finally winning a match. Yes, I'm serious bro.

Good match between Sheamus and Randy Orton. I don't think anyone in the crowd actually gave a crap about this match, That is why they were chanting random things which was awesome. Even the announcers were Ignoring the match, they were listening to what chant will be next. They even started a "Thank You Big Show" chant because He Interrupted the match and That will probably be the only time you'll ever hear Thank you, Big Show. Big Show knocked both out.

Here is the list of chants that the crowd chanted: Mike Chioda, Ole, RVD, Big Show, JBL, Jerry Lawler, Michael Cole, Justin Roberts, CM Punk, Y2J, Austin, XPac, ECW, Randy Savage, HBK, Thank You Big Show, We Are Awesome, One More Chair, Holy Sh*t.
DADADADADADADADADADADADADA

Decent match between Kofi Kingston and Fandango. Kofi got no reaction from the crowd which is sad because WWE hasn't done anything with him lately. He deserves much more than being a jobber. Best part was when Chris Jericho Interfered and attacked Fandango which means the feud hasn't finished yet. If they do the match again, Y2J should win this time but After last night, Fandango was made a star by the crowd. So don't think about It.

Another decent match between Tons of Funk and Funkadactlys vs Rhodes Scholars and The Bella Twins. They got cut from WrestleMania, and they barely got 5 minutes on Raw. It was funny that the people that were complaining about this match not taking place at WM were the same people that didn't even give a crap about the match last night.

The John Cena vs Mark Henry match should've gotten more time than It got. Cena won by count-out and the loss protects Henry since He lost by count-out. I didn't even notice that Ryback wasn't on the show through out the entire night else I would have known that Feed Me More Guy will Interfere. As soon as He knocked Henry out, I know He will do the same to Cena. You would be lying If you say Ryback turned Heel last night because by the crowd reaction that was the biggest face turn ever. But It won't last that much long since I know Ryback will be getting booed probably Next week or so because we can't have the same crowd every week.

Overall, Raw was amazing last night. This was probably the first or second Raw this year that was entertaining and didn't felt like It dragged. Special thanks to the crowd that were alive through out the whole night and they were part of the reason why Raw was great. This show had no Brock Lesnar, Triple H or The former WWE Champion The Rock. Even CM Punk wasn't there who I heard missed Raw for the first time since 2011. I'm looking forward to what's going to happen next.
